KINGSTON, R.I. -- Nick Honor made a 3-pointer with 48 seconds left in overtime that gave Fordham a 66-63 victory over Rhode Island on Saturday.
Rhode Island then missed four 3-point attempts, two in the final seven seconds.
Fordham almost won the game at the end of regulation when Fatts Russell had the ball stolen by Jalen Cobb, who drove to the hoop but had the ball stripped by Russell as he went in for the layup.
Jesse Bunting registered 12 points, nine rebounds and three blocks for Fordham.
