HUNTSVILLE, Texas -- — Lamar Wilkerson had 16 points in Sam Houston's 60-56 victory over UTEP on Saturday night.
Wilkerson added seven rebounds for the Bearkats (12-9, 5-1 Conference USA). Damon Nicholas Jr. added 11 points while finishing 5 of 10 from the floor to go with 13 rebounds. Davon Barnes added 11 points and seven rebounds.
Tae Hardy led the way for the Miners (11-10, 2-4) with 13 points. Zid Powell added 10 points and three steals for UTEP. In addition, Calvin Solomon had nine points.
