Abilene Christian earns 64-59 victory over Seattle U
ABILENE, Texas -- — Ali Abdou Dibba scored 13 points as Abilene Christian beat Seattle U 64-59 on Thursday night.
Dibba added four steals for the Wildcats (15-15, 10-9 Western Athletic Conference). Hunter Jack Madden scored 13 points while shooting 4 for 13 (2 for 8 from 3-point range) and 3 of 4 from the free-throw line and added four steals. Leonardo Bettiol had 10 points and finished 5 of 9 from the floor. The Wildcats picked up their seventh straight win.
Alex Schumacher finished with 13 points and six assists for the Redhawks (18-12, 11-8). Seattle U also got 13 points from Cameron Tyson. Brandton Chatfield had 12 points and nine rebounds.
Both teams next play Saturday. Abilene Christian hosts Utah Valley and Seattle U plays Tarleton State on the road.
