SAN ANTONIO -- — Mike Saunders Jr.'s 20 points helped McNeese defeat Incarnate Word 80-66 on Saturday night.
Saunders was 6-of-10 shooting, including 2 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 6 for 7 from the foul line for the Cowboys (16-2, 5-0 Southland Conference). Christian Shumate added 13 points while going 6 of 9 from the field, and he also had seven rebounds and three steals.
