HAMMOND, La. -- — Nick Caldwell scored 22 points as Southeastern Louisiana beat New Orleans 77-67 on Saturday night.
Caldwell also contributed nine rebounds for the Lions (14-14, 9-6 Southland Conference). Roger McFarlane added 18 points while going 5 of 12 from the floor, including 1 for 4 from 3-point range, and 7 for 8 from the line, and they also had 17 rebounds. Kam Burton finished 5 of 8 from 3-point range to finish with 15 points.
Jordan Johnson finished with 22 points and three steals for the Privateers (8-20, 3-12). Tyson Jackson added 17 points, eight rebounds and two steals for New Orleans. Jah Short also had nine points and two steals.
