Rigsby's 19 lead Troy past Marshall 82-66
TROY, Ala. -- — Myles Rigsby had 19 points in Troy's 82-66 win over Marshall on Wednesday night.
Rigsby added eight rebounds and three steals for the Trojans (16-8, 10-2 Sun Belt Conference). Aamer Muhammad scored 17 points while shooting 7 for 16, including 3 for 8 from beyond the arc. Tayton Conerway added 13 points.
The Thundering Herd (12-13, 7-5) were led by Kevon Voyles, who posted 16 points. Nate Martin added 11 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and five blocks for Marshall. Obinna Anochili-Killen also had 11 points, six rebounds and two steals.
Troy's next game is Saturday against Kent State at home, and Marshall visits Appalachian State on Thursday.
