Mitchell puts up 21 in Little Rock's 82-73 win against Lindenwood
SAINT CHARLES, Mo. -- — Makhel Mitchell scored 21 points as Little Rock beat Lindenwood 82-73 on Saturday night.
Mitchell also added 14 rebounds and three blocks for the Trojans (18-11, 12-4 Ohio Valley Conference). Khalen Robinson added 19 points while shooting 4 of 7 from the field and 10 for 12 from the line, and he also had five assists. Jaylen Crocker-Johnson had 13 points and shot 5 of 6 from the field and 3 for 3 from the line. The Trojans extended their winning streak to seven games.
The Lions (8-21, 2-14) were led in scoring by Keith Haymon, who finished with 18 points. Darius Beane added 17 points and seven assists for Lindenwood. Keenon Cole also had 12 points, six rebounds and two steals. The Lions extended their losing streak to seven straight.
