SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- — Sam Alexis had 15 points in Chattanooga's 79-65 win against Wofford on Wednesday night.
Alexis added five rebounds for the Mocs (13-7, 5-2 Southern Conference). Honor Huff scored 15 points, shooting 6 for 10 (1 for 4 from 3-point range) and 2 of 3 from the free throw line. Trey Bonham had 13 points and was 4 of 10 shooting, including 1 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 4 from the line.
Corey Tripp led the Terriers (11-9, 4-3) in scoring, finishing with 22 points and three steals. Kyler Filewich added 15 points for Wofford. Chase Martin also had 10 points.
Chattanooga hosts Citadel and Wofford plays Furman at home both on Saturday.
