Wofford secures 74-62 win against VMI
LEXINGTON, Va. -- — Corey Tripp had 17 points in Wofford's 74-62 victory against VMI on Saturday.
Tripp also contributed five rebounds for the Terriers (17-14, 10-8 Southern Conference). Kyler Filewich scored 15 points while shooting 7 of 11 from the field and 1 for 3 from the line, and added six rebounds and six assists. Dillon Bailey had 11 points and was 2 of 8 shooting, including 1 for 7 from 3-point range, and went 6 for 8 from the line.
The Keydets (4-27, 1-17) were led in scoring by Taeshaud Jackson, who finished with 22 points, 12 rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Tyran Cook added 13 points for VMI. The Keydets extended their losing streak to 12 straight.
