James' 21 lead Tulane past Sacramento State 92-57
NEW ORLEANS -- — Sion James had 21 points in Tulane's 92-57 win over Sacramento State on Friday night.
James was 8 of 10 shooting, including 3 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 4 from the line for the Green Wave (3-0). Kevin Cross scored 17 points, going 5 of 8 and 6 of 6 from the free throw line. Jaylen Forbes shot 5 for 9, including 3 for 6 from beyond the arc to finish with 14 points, while adding three steals.
Duncan Powell led the way for the Hornets (1-3) with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Austin Patterson added 11 points for Sacramento State. Zee Hamoda also had seven points and two steals.
