JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- — Quimari Peterson's 23 points helped East Tennessee State defeat Tennessee Tech 73-72 on Sunday night.
Peterson added eight rebounds, three steals, and three blocks for the Buccaneers (5-4). Jaden Seymour scored 13 points, going 5 of 9 and 3 of 3 from the free throw line. Ebby Asamoah had 13 points and shot 4 for 9 (3 for 6 from 3-point range) and 2 of 4 from the free throw line.
The Golden Eagles (3-7) were led by Jayvis Harvey, who posted 22 points, six rebounds and four assists.
