Darrion Trammell's acrobatic finish boosts SDSU's late lead.


SAN DIEGO -- — Jaedon LeDee's 20 points helped San Diego State defeat UNLV 72-61 on Saturday night.

LeDee added 11 rebounds and three steals for the Aztecs (13-2, 2-0 Mountain West Conference). Micah Parrish scored 14 points and added three steals. Darrion Trammell shot 3 for 10 (1 for 3 from 3-point range) and 3 of 3 from the free throw line to finish with 10 points. The Aztecs picked up their sixth straight win.

The Rebels (7-6, 0-1) were led in scoring by Luis Rodriguez, who finished with 13 points. UNLV also got 13 points, five assists and two steals from Dedan Thomas Jr.. Justin Webster also had nine points.

Both teams next play Tuesday. San Diego State visits San Jose State and UNLV plays New Mexico at home.
