NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. -- — A'lahn Sumler scored 24 points and Charleston Southern beat Radford 58-57 on Wednesday night.
Sumler's jumper capped the scoring with 59 seconds left. Radford's Kenyon Giles missed a jumper with 39 second to play and DaQuan Smith missed a 3 to end it.
Sumler shot 10 for 20, including 4 for 11 from beyond the arc for the Buccaneers (10-18, 6-9 Big South Conference). Taje' Kelly scored 13 points and added 10 rebounds. Daren Patrick had 10 points.
Giles finished with 18 points to lead the Highlanders (15-15, 5-10). Smith added 15 points.
