HOUSTON -- — PJ Henry hit five 3-pointers and scored 23 to propel Texas Southern to a 68-56 victory over Southern on Monday night.
Henry shot 8 for 15, including 5 for 8 from beyond the arc for the Tigers (10-14, 8-5 Southwestern Athletic Conference). Jonathan Cisse hit three 3-pointers, scoring 17 with four steals. Kenny Hunter had 11 points on 5-for-5 shooting.
Brandon Davis finished with 14 points to top the Jaguars (16-10, 10-3), who saw a seven-game win streak come to an end. Tidjiane Dioumassi totaled 13 points and eight assists, while Derrick Tezeno scored nine.
