Dockery's 25 lead Howard past Morgan State 100-95
WASHINGTON -- — Marcus Dockery's 25 points helped Howard defeat Morgan State 100-95 on Saturday night.
Dockery shot 9 of 15 from the field, including 3 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 6 from the line for the Bison (7-9, 2-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Blake Harper scored 23 points while going 7 of 12 and 8 of 11 from the free-throw line and added seven rebounds and six assists. Anwar Gill had 14 points and shot 6 of 8 from the field and 2 of 3 from the free-throw line.
Will Thomas finished with 24 points and three steals for the Bears (7-12, 1-2). Kameron Hobbs added 24 points and two steals for Morgan State. Ahmarie Simpkins had 20 points, five assists and two blocks.
