WASHINGTON -- — Rob Lawson had 24 points in Morgan State's 78-77 victory over Howard on Saturday.
Lawson shot 8 of 16 from the field, including 3 of 5 from 3-point range, and went 5 of 7 from the line for the Bears (7-13, 3-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Alfred Worrell Jr. shot 4 of 16 (3 for 10 from 3-point range) and 12 of 12 from the free-throw line to add 23 points. Elijah Davis had 16 points and shot 6 of 20 from the field and 4 of 6 from the line.
