Massinburg scores 28, Buffalo holds off Delaware 75-72

NEWARK, Del. -- CJ Massinburg had 28 points with five 3-pointers and a career-high 14 rebounds, and Buffalo held off Delaware 75-72 on Wednesday night.

Davonta Jordan added 20 points and the Bulls (5-3) made 30 of 60 from the floor.

Delaware closed to 45-43 on Ryan Allen's three free throws, but Massinburg hit back-to-back 3s amid a 17-6 run and Buffalo led 62-49. Ryan Daly's layup capped a 12-2 run and the Blue Hens closed to 71-67, but Nick Perkins made a layup and Jeremy Harris dunked in the final 2:31 and Buffalo hung on.

Massinburg hit his third 3 of the first half and the Bulls led 38-32 behind his 19 points and nine rebounds.

Daly scored 22 for Delaware (4-5), Allen had 16 and Chyree Walker 12. Eric Carter, who missed three of the last four games with an ankle injury, had 11 boards.
