Edge and Holloway combine for 35 in Fairleigh Dickinson win

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Darnell Edge and Mike Holloway Jr. combined for 35 points and Fairleigh Dickinson defeated Division III Kean College 94-55 on Saturday.

The Knights (2-2) finished with 21 assists on 33 made field goals, recorded 19 steals -- Edge with seven, matching his career high -- and outscored the Cougars (0-2) 38-14 on points off turnovers.

Edge scored 18 points and Holloway 17 on 8-for-11 shooting with eight rebounds. Jahill Jenkins scored 11 for Fairleigh Dickinson with seven assists and Darian Anderson added 10 points with four assists.

The lead changed five times in the early going before Noah Morgan hit a 3 on a feed from Anderson to give the Knights a 22-20 lead at 9:13 of the first half. Fairleigh Dickinson pulled away from there and led 50-30 by halftime.

Adrian Baucum led Kean with 10 points.
