Wright-Foreman scores 32 to carry Hofstra over Drexel 80-77

PHILADELPHIA -- Justin Wright-Foreman had 32 points as Hofstra narrowly defeated Drexel 80-77 to earn at least a share of the Colonial Athletic Association title on Thursday night.

Eli Pemberton had 15 points and six rebounds for Hofstra (24-6, 14-3), which has a one-game lead over Northeastern with one game left to play. Desure Buie added 15 points. Jalen Ray had 10 points for the visiting team.

Alihan Demir had 24 points for the Dragons (13-17, 7-10). Trevor John added 20 points and six rebounds. James Butler had 18 points.

The Pride improve to 2-0 against the Dragons this season. Hofstra defeated Drexel 89-75 on Dec. 30. Hofstra finishes out the regular season against Delaware on the road on Saturday. Drexel finishes out the regular season against Northeastern at home on Saturday.
