WICHITA, Kan. -- Jeremiah Martin had 37 points as Memphis narrowly defeated Wichita State 88-85 on Saturday night.
Martin hit all 14 of his free throw attempts.
Raynere Thornton had 16 points and nine rebounds for Memphis (17-11, 9-6 American Athletic Conference). Kareem Brewton Jr. added 14 points.
