Earlington lifts St. John's over Albany (NY) 85-57

NEW YORK -- Marcellus Earlington posted 16 points and nine rebounds as St. John's cruised past Albany 85-57 on Wednesday night.

Julian Champagnie had 14 points for St. John's (10-2), which won its sixth straight game. Greg Williams Jr. added 11 points and Rasheem Dunn had 10 points and six assists for the Red Storm.

St. John's posted a season-high 11 blocks.

Albany scored 22 points in the first half, a season low for the Great Danes.

Malachi de Sousa scored a career-high 22 points for Albany (6-7). Antonio Rizzuto added 12 points and Romani Hansen had seven rebounds.
