Clark, Rizzuto lead Albany's OT win over New Hampshire

DURHAM, N.H. -- Ahmad Clark had 27 points and Antonio Rizzuto's steal and jumper gave Albany the lead late in overtime of a 76-73 victory over New Hampshire on Wednesday night.

New Hampshire led 73-71 after Nick Guadarrama made one of two free throws with 24 seconds left in overtime. Albany would score the next five points to win. Kendall Lauderdale made one of two free throws with 13 seconds to go, Rizzuto's big play put the Great Danes ahead 74-73 and Cameron Healy made a pair of free throws to finish things off.

Healy had 18 points and seven rebounds for Albany (10-8, 3-0 America East Conference), which has won four straight. Clark made 4 of 6 3-pointers. He added six rebounds.

Marque Maultsby had 16 points for the Wildcats (8-9, 1-3). Sean Sutherlin added 15 points and nine rebounds. He also had seven turnovers with one assist. Chris Lester had 13 points and eight rebounds.

Guadarrama, the Wildcats' leading scorer at 14 points per game, shot only 15 percent (2 of 13). He finished with nine points and 11 rebounds.

Albany plays at Stony Brook on Saturday. New Hampshire takes on Maryland-Baltimore County at home on Saturday.
