Grant lifts Bryant past St. Francis (Pa) 67-63

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Adam Grant had 20 points as Bryant narrowly beat St. Francis (Pa.) 67-63 on Thursday in their first Northeast Conference game of the season.

Benson Lin had 14 points for Bryant (9-5). Hall Elisias added 12 points, seven rebounds and four blocks, and Ikenna Ndugba had 11 points and nine rebounds.

After falling behind 28-22 at halftime, Bryant outscored St. Francis 45-35 in the second half to earn the victory. The Bulldogs' 22 points in the first half marked a season low for the team.

Isaiah Blackmon had 24 points and seven rebounds for the Red Flash (7-5), whose five-game win streak was broken. Keith Braxton added 13 points and seven rebounds, and Myles Thompson had 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Bryant plays Fairleigh Dickinson at home on Saturday. St. Francis plays Central Connecticut on the road on Saturday.
