ABILENE, Texas -- — Tanner Toolson had 17 points to lead Utah Valley to a 74-67 victory over Abilene Christian on Saturday night.
Toolson shot 5 of 12 from the field, including 3 for 7 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 4 from the line for the Wolverines (16-15, 11-9 Western Athletic Conference). Caleb Stone-Carrawell added 15 points and Drake Allen scored 13.
Ali Abdou Dibba had 17 points to lead the Wildcats (15-16, 10-10), who saw a seven-game win streak come to an end. Airion Simmons added 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Hunter Jack Madden scored 10.
