Alabama's Hurts visits Terps, Canes, Sooners

Alabama QB Jalen Hurts, who entered the transfer portal this week, is visiting Maryland and also plans to visit Miami this weekend, a source told ESPN. He's also expected to draw interest from Oklahoma. CaneSport.com was first to report the Miami visit. Miami hired former Alabama QB coach Dan Enos as its offensive coordinator today. Maryland coach Mike Locksley was Hurts' offensive coordinator at Alabama this past season.

Former Alabama co-offensive coordinator Josh Gattis has left Tuscaloosa to become the offensive coordinator at Michigan, the school announced Thursday.

There's another exodus on the horizon of Alabama assistant coaches leaving. Offensive coordinator Mike Locksley had already been announced as Maryland's head coach, but offensive line coach Brent Key was announced Thursday as Georgia Tech's offensive line coach and running game coordinator, while receivers coach Josh Gattis has also informed Nick Saban that he is weighing several opportunities, including Power 5 offensive coordinator jobs.
