Booker, Shelton-Mosley lift Harvard past Lafayette 38-10

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Charlie Booker III had 23 carries for 159 yards and one touchdown and Harvard amassed 296 rushing yards as the Crimson routed Lafayette 38-10 on Saturday.

Off Lafayette's opening drive, Justice Shelton-Mosley put Harvard (3-2) out front 7-0 with an 85-yard touchdown punt return. It was the junior's third-career touchdown punt return and tied for the fifth-longest return in Harvard history.

C.J. Amill returned the ensuing kickoff 65 yards to Harvard's 33-yard line. Sean O'Malley then capped a brief drive throwing a 2-yard score to Rocco Palumbo to tie it.

Shelton-Mosley scored his second run of the day to give the Crimson the lead for good. Booker accounted for 56 yards rushing on the 78-yard scoring drive.

The Crimson stifled the Lafayette (2-5) running game to hold the Leopards to 12 yards on the ground. O'Malley led Lafayette with 149 yards passing.
