CCSU wins fifth straight, beats Bryant 31-14

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. -- Courtney Rush accounted for two touchdowns and Drew Jean-Guillaume ran for another score to lift Central Connecticut State over Bryant 31-14 on Saturday.

Central Connecticut State (5-3, 3-0 Northeast Conference) won its fifth straight while Bryant (2-5, 0-2) has lost three consecutive games.

Rush ran for a 3-yard score and had a 70-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter. Jean-Guillaume finished with 123 yards rushing, including a 76-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter.

Price Wilson was 26-of-42 passing for 381 yards to lead Bryant. It was Wilson's sixth game this season with over 300 yards passing. Wilson connected with Tom Kennedy on a 51-yard touchdown pass, and ran for a 1-yard score in the third quarter. Kennedy had five catches for 161 yards.

CCSU recovered two fourth-quarter Bryant fumbles, the first led to Carlton Nash's 1-yard touchdown run that capped the scoring with 6:34 left.
