Paris end Auxerre's run with 1-0 win
PARIS, Nov 28 - Lowly Paris St Germain ended Auxerre's surprise Ligue 1 run by beating the leaders 1-0 at Parc des Princes on Saturday.
Midfielder Jeremy Clement headed home a cross by Brazilian defender Ceara on 67 minutes to give PSG the points and move the capital club up a spot to 12th in the 20-strong league.
PSG lost goalkeeper Gregory Coupet, who left the pitch on a stretcher six minutes from time after twisting his leg while trying to prevent a corner.
Burgundy side Auxerre, who had won their last seven games, are now under threat from champions Girondins Bordeaux and Olympique Lyon, both a point back before visiting Nancy and welcoming Stade Rennes respectively on Sunday. (Writing by Patrick Vignal, Editing by Clare Fallon)
