Red Devils frustrate Rovers
Crawley's dogged defence earned them a valuable away point in a 0-0 draw as Doncaster's miserable home run continued.Rovers attacked for most of the match but seldom looked like scoring as they stretched their luckless run to eight games without a victory at the Keepmoat Stadium.Crawley were content to sit back and try and hit their opponents on the break but they rarely threatened and home goalkeeper Jed Steer never had a shot to save.Ritchie Wellens and James Coppinger both went close for Doncaster in the early stages but the home side flattered to deceive and they lacked quality and penetration in attack.Izale McLeod headed just wide for Crawley in the 17th minute but they never seriously threatened the Rovers goal in the second half.Theo Robinson had a close-range header superbly saved by Jamie Ashdown in a frantic finish as the visitors held on to earn a share of the points.
