Robertson retains Posh perfection
Peterborough's resurgence under caretaker boss Dave Robertson continued after they beat Leyton Orient 1-0 to close in on a play-off place.Jon Taylor's goal after 25 minutes, thanks to a strong gust of wind, made it three wins from three games for Robertson and Posh - who had half-time substitute Marcus Maddison sent off in the 90th minute.Taylor gave Peterborough the lead when his cross from the right, which looked well over-hit, appeared to get caught in the wind and dip over Orient goalkeeper Alex Cisak. The away side nearly forced an equaliser early in the second-half when Jobi McAnuff appeared to direct a right-wing cross from Bradley Pritchard towards goal with his thigh. However, Peterborough goalkeeper Ben Alnwick tipped it over.Substitute Dean Cox and Josh Wright both fired wide for Orient from 20 yards before referee Mark Brown sent off Maddison after he won the ball against Luke O'Neill with a strong challenge. However, the visitors, who saw Romain Vincelot carried off on a stretcher, could not capitalise and remain in the bottom four.
