Queen's Park extended their unbeaten run to seven matches as they beat league leaders Arbroath 2-1 at Gayfield Park. Gus MacPherson's side have now won their last five consecutive matches. Goals from Shaun Fraser and Kevin Fotheringham gave the visitors a comfortable lead before Paul McManus pulled one back for the Red Lichties. Queen's Park were ahead inside two minutes when Shaun Rooney found Fraser in space inside the box and he slotted past Arbroath's Scott Morrison. Simon Murray put a good chance over the crossbar for the home side in the first half, before pulling a shot wide six minutes into the second period.Arbroath's Dylan Carreiro squandered a great opportunity as he hit an effort over before Morrison brilliantly saved an effort from the visitors' Darren Miller.Fotheringham doubled the Spiders' lead 11 minutes from time, rifling his effort into the top corner and Arbroath replied less than two minutes later through McManus, who headed home Jack Smith's cross.
