Elgin edge past Arbroath
Two goals in 11 second-half minutes saw Elgin run out 2-1 winners and cut the gap on Arbroath in the play-off hunt. The visitors were six points clear of the Black and Whites heading into this clash and took the lead in the 58th minute when Robert Linn struck a left-footed effort into the bottom-right corner. But Arbroath had not won since March 14 and their lead lasted just four minutes, Craig Gunn pouncing from six yards for his fourth goal in his last three outings. And the comeback was complete when Shane Sutherland collected Brain Cameron's pass and fired home what turned out to be the winner. With 14 minutes to go only the reactions of Marc McCallum denied Elgin's Jamie Reid a third before Elgin could celebrate making it five unbeaten.
