Blackpool take points with win over Swindon

Blackpool secured back-to-back wins for the first time in two years with a 1-0 victory over Swindon in Sky Bet League One at Bloomfield Road.Mark Cullen's first half goal was enough to earn the points and make it five games without a win for Swindon.The visitors started brightly as Fabien Robert burst forward after three minutes but Colin Doyle easily held his shot from 20 yards.Blackpool went close after 11 minutes when Jack Redshaw's 30-yard strike whistled inches wide.The Seasiders took the lead in the 38th minute through Cullen, who claimed the goal from Henry Cameron's corner after a near post flick by Clark Robertson.The hosts nearly grabbed a second after 45 minutes but Brad Potts' 30-yard free-kick was acrobatically saved by on-loan Liverpool keeper Lawrence Vigouroux.Potts went even closer after 58 minutes when his thumping strike from 20 yards came back off the inside of the post.Blackpool should have doubled their advantage after 66 minutes but Bright Samuel slotted wide when clear through on goal.
