Action aplenty in goalless draw

Lille and Bordeaux both remain winless after sharing an entertaining goalless draw at Stade Pierre-Mauroy.The result means Lille remain without a goal after three games, although they could not have come much closer after hitting the woodwork three times.Bordeaux striker Enzo Crivelli had the first notable effort on goal midway through the first half when his shot was turned behind by Vincent Enyeama.Baptiste Guillaume hit the outside of the post at the other end before Marko Basa put a golden chance over the crossbar at the start of the second half.It was Bordeaux's turn to hit the frame of the goal from a Crivelli header on the hour mark, with the drama continuing as Lille broke quickly and Nicolas Pallois up-ended Sofiane Boufal just outside the penalty area. The defender was shown a yellow and then a red card, only for the referee to realise he had not previously been booked.Lille pushed on in search of a winner in the closing stages and were frustrated twice more by the woodwork, centre-back Renato Civelli seeing two headers rebound off the bar, the second via a brilliant save by Jerome Prior.The Bordeaux goalkeeper also got down well to save Djibril Sidibe's low shot as the home side were forced to settle for a share of the spoils.Lille will continue their search for a first league win of the season against Ajaccio next weekend, while Bordeaux will be out to break their duck at home to Nantes.
