Super sub Leighton McIntosh scores winner as 10-man Peterhead fight back
Substitute Leighton McIntosh netted the winner as 10-man Peterhead came from behind to beat Forfar 3-2 at Balmoor. The second-placed hosts, now unbeaten in 13 Ladbrokes League One games, got off to the perfect start when Rory McAllister fired them ahead on four minutes but things quickly turned sour.Steven Craig, who only signed for Forfar in midweek, equalised with a left-footed effort after a quarter of an hour and the Loons were ahead three minutes later when Andy Ryan pounced on a Graeme Smith error.Peterhead were then reduced to 10 men on the half-hour mark when Steven Noble was sent off for violent conduct but Shane Sutherland dragged them level just before the break. And McIntosh, who was a second-half replacement for Nicky Riley, completed the comeback with 15 minutes remaining to leave Peterhead eight points behind leaders Dunfermline.
