Stenhousemuir too strong for Cowdenbeath
Stenhousemuir scored twice in each half as they beat 10-man Cowdenbeath 4-2 in Ladbrokes Scottish League 1.The home side started fastest at Ochilview, Colin McMenamin opening the scoring after just nine minutes when he found space in the box to neatly dispatch for his second of the season after good work by Jon Robertson.Liam Henderson doubled Brown Ferguson's side's lead five minutes later, latching onto Alan Cook's ball before firing past stopper Michael Andrews.Allan Smith netted a third for the Warriors before Aldin El-Zubaidi pulled one back with a close-range header.Cook restored the three-goal advantage after an hour with a low strike, but Cowden soon added a second when Greig Spence rounded the goalkeeper for his second goal in as many games.Colin Nish's men were reduced to 10 men when John Armstrong was dismissed for violent conduct, as Ferguson's Stenhousemuir saw out their second win of the season.
