Simon Lundevall scored early in extra time to give Elfsborg a 1-0 win over Randers and a spot in the Europa League third qualifying round.

Four minutes into the extra period, Randers defenders could only half-clear a cross, and the ball fell to Lundevall to lash home from the top of the box on the half-volley.

Randers had Nicolai Brock-Madsen sent off for a second yellow card in the 84th minute.

The Danish side had held their Swedish opposition to a goalless draw in the first leg last week, so Elfsborg advanced 1-0 on aggregate.

They will face the winners of Ireland's Shamrock Rovers or Norway's Odd in the next round.
