Lille see off Bastia to edge away from trouble
Lille eased their troubles with a 2-1 win over Bastia.
Bastia, who have now lost three on the spin in Ligue 1, started well with youngster Allan Saint-Maximin seeing an effort turned onto a post by home goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.
At the other end, Jean-Louis Leca did well to keep out a low Sebastien Corchia shot and a Renato Civelli header either side of half-time.
However, he was beaten in quick succession shortly afterwards. First, by Corchia's lovely free kick and then after 57 minutes by Eder's tap-in after Naim Sliti's shot.
Sadio Diallo's curled home a reply in the 71st minute but Lille held on for back-to-back home wins.
