Karl Toko Ekambi's first-half goal clinched Angers a 1-0 win at Bordeaux and their second straight Ligue 1 victory.
Toko Ekambi followed up a rebound to score the game's only goal from close range, while Bordeaux finished the game with 10 men following the late dismissal of striker Diego Rolan.
Rolan spurned several chances for Bordeaux before Toko Ekambi followed up to slam home in the 38th minute after his initial shot had been saved.
Bordeaux substitute Gaetan Laborde was denied by Angers goalkeeper Mathieu Michel in the 78th minute before Rolan was shown a straight red card for his foul on Pierrick Capelle with five minutes to go.
