Younousse Sankhare edges Lille past former club Dijon
Younousse Sankhare struck a late winner against his former club to secure Lille a 1-0 home win against Dijon.
Midfielder Sankhare fired home in the 87th minute for Lille, who lost at Caen in their opening-day league clash, and sent Dijon to a second straight defeat.
Few chances were created by either side in a goalless first half. Dijon striker Julio Tavares' header was comfortably saved and at the other end Sankhare's effort did little to trouble visiting goalkeeper Baptiste Reynet.
Home substitute Eric Bautheac blazed off target after being set up by Morgan Amalfitano in the 67th minute as both sides laboured, but with three minutes left Sankhare finished into the bottom corner following Eder's ball into the box.
