New boys Metz hit back to stun Lille

Mevlut Erdinc marked his Metz debut with a brace as the Ligue 1 new boys twice came from behind to beat Lille 3-2.

Portuguese midfielder Rony Lopes, on loan from Monaco, fired home Julian Palmieri's centre to put the visitors ahead 15 minutes before the break.

Turkey international Erdinc levelled following a good team move 11 minutes into the second half but Lopes grabbed his second after a good ball from Eder to put Lille back in front 14 minutes later.

Erdinc, signed on loan from from Hannover, restored parity with a penalty in the 76th minute and, after he was substituted, midfielder Yann Jouffre also scored from the spot on debut to put Philippe Hinschberger's men on course for victory with two minutes remaining.
