Tranmere are one game away from a return to the Football League after beating Ebbsfleet United 4-2 after extra time in their National League promotion play-off semi-final at Prenton Park.
Despite going behind to Ebbsfleet after 16 minutes when Luke Coulson scored, Micky Mellon's team hit back just after the half hour when James Norwood netted his first of the game.
Myles Weston put Ebbsfleet back in front after 51 minutes but Josh Ginnelly brought Tranmere level again five minutes later.
The scores were level at full time but Norwood netted his second after 102 minutes and Larnell Cole scored four minutes later to ensure Tranmere's victory. Ebbsfleet's misery was complete when Dave Winfield was sent off two minutes later following a scuffle off the ball.
