Lautaro Martinez strikes as Inter Milan hold off Lyon in ICC
Inter Milan rode a goal from new arrival Lautaro Martinez to a 1-0 International Champions Cup win against Lyon on Saturday night.
Martinez, 20, arrived from Argentina's Racing Club over the summer in a $18.6 million deal and his strike against Lyon was his third in six preseason appearances for the Serie A side.
Matteo Politano allowed Dalbert Henrique's low cross run through his legs, fooling Lyon goalkeeper Mathieu Gorgelin and leaving Martinez to lash home with his first touch into a gaping net.
Lyon begin Ligue 1 play against Amiens on Aug. 11, while Inter begin their Serie A campaign on Aug. 19 against Sassuolo.
