Arsenal are three points off third place Manchester United -- who beat West Ham earlier in the day -- and have both a game in hand and a superior goal difference. This season marks the first time that the top three teams in the Women's Super League will gain qualification to the Champions League rather than just the top two.
Foord scored her 10th goal of the season after just 26 minutes following a lovely one-two with Noelle Maritz.
McCabe swung a perfect corner into the box for Arsenal's second which Miedema, inexplicably unmarked, hooked her foot around and volleyed into the goal on 35 minutes.
Ireland defender McCabe -- who leads the league in assists with Manchester City's Chloe Kelly -- was rewarded with a goal of her own on 61 minutes after a sloppy pass from Abbie McManus delivered the ball straight to her. She hit a fast, low shot across the face of the goal and into the bottom right corner.
