New England Revolution remain dominant, rout Montreal
The New England Revolution continued their season-long dominance to propel them to a 4-1 win against host CF Montreal on Wednesday.
New England (20-4-5, 65 points) scored three times in the opening 45 minutes and has scored 31 of its 57 goals this in the first half. The Revolution, whose 56th goal set a new club record, have won three in a row and are 13-1-2 in their past 16 games.

Montreal (10-10-7, 37 points) has lost two straight after a 4-1-2 run in their previous seven.
Montreal was in control early and had several chances to strike first courtesy of Romell Quioto. In the fourth minute, the Honduran striker had his shot from the left side blocked by New England defender.
Andrew Farrell and three minutes later, his chance from the box rolled just past the left post.
The Revolution capitalized in the ensuing minutes. Tajon Buchanan's pass attempt was deflected up by a Montreal defender, and Carles Gil's shot off the rebound was blocked and the ball went straight to
DeJuan Jones, who scored to put New England ahead 1-0 in the 10th minute.
Adam Buksa made it 2-0 for the visitors with his team-leading 13th goal of the season in the 17th minute with a header from the left side off a feed from Gustavo Bou.
An own goal by Montreal pushed the lead to 3-0 for New England in the 30th minute. Bou took a light tap pass from Buchanan and looked to dish it off to Buksa, but the ball hit Montreal defender Rudy Camacho's leg and rolled into the net.
Montreal cut it to 3-1 in the 31st minute when midfielder Joaquin Torres showed patience with the ball just outside the box, looking for space before taking a few steps in and firing the ball along the right side past goalkeeper Matt Turner.
Bou tied Buksa for the team goal-scoring lead when he made it 4-1 from the goal area in the 86th minute.
