Lazio bounce back to sink Sampdoria

Lazio bounced back from their derby disappointment as first-half goals in quick succession from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Marco Parolo steered them to a 2-1 win at Sampdoria.

The visitors, beaten 2-0 at home by Roma last time out, went in front when Milinkovic-Savic converted a header in the 40th minute from a cross by Felipe Anderson, whose delivery four minutes later then teed up Parolo's close-range finish.

Substitute Patrik Schick drilled an 89th-minute reply, but the home side could not salvage a point.

Lazio are up a place to fourth in the Serie A table, while Sampdoria, who had been unbeaten in their previous five league games, stay ninth.
