Greene, Buchanan carry Manhattan past Delaware St. 85-74
RIVERDALE, N.Y. -- Tykei Greene had 15 points to lead five Manhattan players in double figures as the Jaspers defeated Delaware State 85-74 on Tuesday night. Elijah Buchanan added 12 points for the Jaspers. Pauly Paulicap chipped in 10, Samir Stewart scored 10 and Christian Hinckson had 10. Stewart also had five steals for the Jaspers.
The Jaspers led from the opening tip on a Paulicap layup.
Lance Singh III had 16 points for the Hornets (0-2). Ameer Bennett added 15 points. John Stansbury had 13 points and six rebounds.
