FORT MYERS, Fla. -- — Chaz Lanier scored 19 points as North Florida beat Florida Gulf Coast 78-58 on Saturday night.
Lanier shot 7 for 10, including 5 for 6 from beyond the arc for the Ospreys (8-9, 1-1 Atlantic Sun Conference). Dorian James scored 13 points while shooting 6 for 9, including 1 for 3 from beyond the arc. Nate Lliteras was 4-of-11 shooting (2 for 7 from 3-point range) to finish with 11 points.
Dallion Johnson led the Eagles (7-10, 1-1) in scoring, finishing with 17 points and six rebounds. FGCU also got 10 points and 10 rebounds from Keeshawn Kellman. Zach Anderson also put up 10 points.
