NEWARK, N.J. -- — Armon Harried had 17 points in Binghamton's 69-55 win over NJIT on Saturday night.
Harried shot 4 of 7 from the field and 9 for 12 from the line for the Bearcats (12-13, 4-8 America East Conference). Dan Petcash added 14 points while going 6 of 13 (2 for 9 from 3-point range), and he also had six rebounds. Tariq Balogun shot 5 of 6 from the field and 4 for 5 from the line to finish with 14 points, while adding six rebounds.
The Highlanders (7-17, 3-9) were led by Tariq Francis, who recorded 18 points and four steals. NJIT also got 14 points from Mekhi Gray. In addition, Elijah Buchanan finished with eight points and six rebounds.
