CHARLESTON, Ill. -- — Jordan Sears' 25 points helped UT Martin defeat Eastern Illinois 76-59 on Thursday night.
Sears had six rebounds and five assists for the Skyhawks (13-9, 6-3 Ohio Valley Conference). Desmond Williams scored 19 points and added six rebounds. Jacob Crews shot 4 for 14 (0 for 6 from 3-point range) and 4 of 4 from the free throw line to finish with 12 points.
Tiger Booker led the Panthers (10-12, 4-5) in scoring, finishing with 28 points and three steals. Corey Swayer Jr. added 10 points and two steals for Eastern Illinois. Dan Luers also had five points.
